Jasmine Field Development

The Jasmine Field was discovered in 2006 and commenced production in 2013. This high pressure, high temperature development is one of the UK’s largest offshore discoveries in the past decade, with estimated reserves of more than 100 million barrels of oil. Field facilities include a 24-slot wellhead platform, accommodation and utilities platform and a riser and processing platform, bridge-linked to the Judy production facility.

LFF supplied the projects Piping Bulk requirements in materials ranging from Carbon Steel to Inconel 625 meeting the requirements of Norsok M630/M650 and ASME B31.3 Chapter IX where design verification performed by Finite Element Analysis followed by Fatigue Analysis was necessary for the minimum wall thickness items. Pipe and fittings were supplied with wall thicknesses exceeding 2”. Materials were delivered to fabrication sites in Italy, Spain and Dubai.
